Why BeRated Cannot Delete Reviews Reviews Last Forever On Berated Article link: open.substack.com/pub/berated/p/… Google, Trust Pilot, and other review platforms are blasting away reviews into the abyss. x.com/EldarCohen3160… x.com/Maven_CEO/stat… At BeRated, it is impossible to delete reviews. We specifically built our system this way. But wait! You may be asking, “How is this even possible?” We store all of our reviews on Ethereum via Optimism. That may not mean much to everyone, and we want to take a brief moment to explain how this makes reviews permanent. Ethereum and Optimism are distributed networks. Once data is stored on their blockchains, it remains a part of the permanent record. Due to the distributed nature of these networks, the data is then replicated and stored across thousands and thousands of nodes. The permanent record is impossible to alter. Ethereum and Optimism allow programmers to remove data from the network, but the data still remains a part of the historical state. Therefore, even if data is removed, it still exists in the history. At BeRated, we went one step further, however. On Ethereum, programmers can actually write software that prevents data deletion. To accomplish this, the programmer only provides a way to store the data. To delete, they have to also add programming code that deletes the data. BeRated just skipped the deletion part, and consequently, there is absolutely no way to delete reviews because there is no programming code to delete them! They are permanently stored on the blockchain. Why did we do this? Some governments around the world practice censorship and require platforms to police their users. The Chinese government is an excellent example of this. However, BeRated stops these bad actors in their tracks! Since there is no way to delete reviews on BeRated, anyone under any government can post their thoughts completely anonymously, and their government can do nothing about it. They are powerless because the system stores the reviews permanently. No one can delete them. It is impossible!

China and Pakistan have jointly outlined a five-point plan calling for an immediate ceasefire and peace talks to end the war with Iran. The proposal includes protecting civilians and infrastructure, ensuring free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and safeguarding regional sovereignty. It also calls for humanitarian access and a stronger UN-led framework for long-term stability, as both countries position themselves as mediators in the conflict. 🇨🇳🇵🇰

ITCHING FOR IMPEACHMENT: Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refuses to rule out the idea of Democrats attempting to impeach President Trump again if they retake power after the midterm elections. "That's up to the new Congress. And that's up to them to decide where we go of reviewing what he's done. And that requires power, all the kinds of things that build a case."

A man inside Tehran tells CBS News' @HollyMAWilliams that the "overwhelming majority" of Iranians feel powerless as the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran continues. “I can say we are a powerless nation because we haven’t been asked about what to do,” he said. When asked how the U.S. can help Iranians, he says "stop the war and negotiate."
