Interesting valve case of #Bicuspid AV stenosis:
📌57 yr old. Asymptomatic. By 2D, valve appears to open, but by Doppler, peak velocity = ~ 5 m/s. No other reason for ⬆️gradients.
Management? 🤔

@StellEkaterina The first thing that came to my mind after seeing these results was these contradictonary results may support the study of Uretsky regarding Echo vs. CMR in Mitral Regurgitation: Reverse remodelling after MV-surgery was only associated with CMR-Grading, not with Echo-Grading 😐

How is it that sometimes one vessel (here: Cx) seems totally destroyed by CAD while others (RIM, LAD) only have mild disease? Smoking, lipids etc should affect all vessels the same way, right? Anybody understand the underlying pathological process?

Biatrial thrombi were last described 3 years ago 🧐
Current on recently restarted anticoagulation.
