Finally, US investors keep glossing over the Exaion deal. Worth pausing on it.
Xavier Niel - early OpenAI investor, 3.6% ByteDance, close with Eric Schmidt, built Station F. He sits on Exaion's board and owns 10% of @MARA France. In France, he's not a partner. He's a signal.
Europe is building its own AI infrastructure: sovereign, behind the firewall, outside the US Cloud Act. Exaion will be key to that market. Most US investors just don't know it yet.
