@HelmutKlaue @HeadcrabFarmer @Dreamboum The problem is the ending of ME2. ME3 had to sideline all of the previous characters because other than Liara they could all be dead. They had to write ME3 in such a way that they could remove any subset of ME1 or 2 characters without changing the broad strokes.

Crazy how quite literally almost all the problems that Mass Effect 3 had to deal with was because ME2 delivered almost nothing in terms of plot but also actively shit on its own lore to become a space theme park cover shooter blockbuster.
