@Cxmpetition As a Purdue fan, this is no different than Painter. Obviously my bias makes me say I appreciate the old school coaches and don’t want them to change, but the game is going to eventually completely overrun them.

Tom Izzo is an all-time coach. However, majority of the time, he will never win these recruiting battles & in large part it’s because of him. MSU has the money. There is no way they don’t. The problem is, for example, he’s probably offering somebody like Sherrell $4M… Indiana comes in and offers $5M… He’s too stubborn and almost feels disrespected/turned off that a kid would rather take an extra million to go play for a lesser coach, and he’s completely out after that. I don’t blame him, but it’s literally how the game is played today. None of this is actually proven to be true, it’s just speculation, but those are my thoughts. NIL is going to retire him and honestly I don’t blame him.

Purdue currently has 16 players on next years roster unless I’m missing something. The limit is 15. Meaning at least someone has to either transfer, or be cut. Unless someone already has been cut.
