Call me a cynic/heartless, but these “Dad/Grandad, this promotion was for you. Here’s a picture of your hat/watch/scarf/socks in the stand” are just for social media points. Personally it’s a quiet word with yourself and a moment. A reflection of society I suppose, rush online.
