I remember this was all apart of the label plan to delineate their three solo projects into distinct lanes, priming Bey for success.
Kelly was supposed to be in the โRnB Alternativeโ lane so this actually fit.

Iโm well aware that this album was rushed but the single releases will always be jarring to me. And Iโm pissed to this day over โStoleโ. Beautiful song, horrible single.
