Watched One Battle After Another and Project Hail Mary at Chez KaZ over the weekend, Enjoyed both. My takeaway for the former is I dont know why Teyana Taylor got an Oscar nom at all. If an actress had to be nominated from that film it should have been Chase Infiniti who was infinitely better. A long film, but because of its pacing never felt it. Project Hail Mary is a lovely cozy comfort film, though not as perfectly paced, I wished they could have shaved off some of the first hour exposition and added that time to the mid/end. It has some stunning sound design, visual effects and the score and cinematography is👎 so there could well be oscar noms in the far future. And though its an early call, we would all be happy for a Golden Globes Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film win going to Ryan Gosling ala Matt Damon in The Martian...

Ths is very Bob Mortimer and Vic Rreves Big Night Out Coded... SNL UK needs to be 45 minutes long max. The sketches need to be shorter, and it def needs to keep its British eccentric DNA. The only thing that it should twin with the USA version is the name. Us Brits are brilliant at comedy, but this show wasn't, though wasn't as bad as it could have been.. it just is never going to be event comedic TV. Two series max
