@goddek @RepFine We don’t need some douche based in Brazil to tell Americans they can’t serve in our own government because of our beliefs. Maybe excluding people for what they think works in whatever shit hole you come from, but not here. So kindly piss off

Armenians should not serve in Congress. Neither should Somalis. Or Guatemalans. Or — wait for it— Israelis. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you shouldn’t serve in ours. We need to pass my bill to stop the invasion of dual citizens in Congress. NOW.

@cenkuygur It seems like you have a problem with Israel lobbying, which is with in the confines of our laws. If that bothers you so much, maybe don’t single out one country doing it, and advocate for changing the system.

People think the biggest issue with Israel is their war crimes. That's obviously fair, given how atrocious the genocide and all their atrocities have been. But there is second giant problem as well - American sovereignty. Their lobby gives money to 94% of Congress, they completely bully our national media into compliance and they have robbed us of our sovereignty here. No matter who we elect, they seem to serve Israel. And then our media tells us that's normal. That's not normal! It's weird how our media and politicians all grovel to the same country. That's nowhere near normal. As an American, that bothers me to my core. The whole point of this country is indepedence and freedom. It feels like they've taken that from us. And I can't stand it.

@DanielLozovsky I reject your framing because it spreads the lie that what’s happening right now isn’t cultural. It is cultural. That’s why it’s been going on for decades.

My Christian Armenian ancestors in Haifa fled in 1947 thanks to the terrorism carried out against them and Palestinians by the Irgun terrorists. The state was built off terrorism. I know my history, despite Robert Maxwell’s efforts in concealing it.
Daniel Lozovsky@DanielLozovsky

Spitting on a church is disgusting. Whoever did it should be condemned and punished. But turning one idiot’s act into “Israel is not safe for Christians” and “hateful little terrorists” is collective smear politics. If one Armenian, Russian, Muslim, or Christian commits an ugly act, we don’t indict the whole people. Same rule for Jews and Israelis.

After my parents fled the Islamic Regime in 1979, they found safe haven in Queens, New York. That’s where I was born. In a tiny apartment in Queens. My parents had nothing. Not money. Not connections. Not even the ability to speak English. Unlike Zohran Mamdani, I didn’t go to a fancy private school. I went to a NYC public school that was so crowded there weren’t enough desks for each student. Half the time I sat on the radiator in the back of the room and took notes on my lap. I rode the MTA bus home, while both my parents worked to put food on the table and rebuild their lives. And they did rebuild. Because in America, and only in America, capitalism gave them a real chance to start again. The people supporting Mamdani are just like him. A bunch of entitled rich kids who have no clue how lucky they are, and even less of a clue why they have been conditioned to hate America. They don’t know what it’s like to buy shoes two sizes too big so you don’t outgrow them before the end of the school year. To act as the translator for your parents at 6 years old. To claw your way from having nothing to achieving something. And today they celebrate, because they’re too dumb or radicalized or both to realize they’re falling for the same Islamist-Marxist lies that caused my parents to flee Iran in the first place. All to destroy a city that was once a hopeful refuge for millions of people who just wanted a better life. People like me and my family. What a sad, sad day. My heart is absolutely broken for NYC.

@CyberTysxn @AnaKasparian @persianjewess No. You have a low IQ. Thats the problem. You brought up Jews living in Iran. I brought up Arabs in Israel…your own brain rot can’t see the parallels. But yea, it’s all the Jews fault. That’ll surely solve your problems.

@AnaKasparian @persianjewess Hey dipshit. My Jewish Iranian father left Iran in 1976 (pre revolution) for university. He wasn’t able to go back. That doesn’t make it any better.

We need: 1) universal unlimited HSAs, 2) catastrophic plans at any age without "preventive care", 3) individualize med risk assessments, and 4) med insurance off ramps for business that do not mandate purchases from ACA exchanges. Why won't we get them? The politicians are owned.

I was up last night with a STEMI until 4:30. For my entire career I’ve gone to work the next day with whatever sleep I could get. Not anymore. Today, I slept in and did chart work from home. You can’t fly an airplane or drive a truck if you’ve been up all night. Why should it be different for docs?

Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D.
The @WaysandMeansGOP Committee held a hearing examining the impact of rising health care costs on patients and families, including how consolidation and for-profit conglomerates are making healthcare unaffordable for the average American. The system needs to see more competition and a national discussion about whether we need ‘for-profit’ entities in healthcare.

This pill camera traveled my intestinal tract for 10 hrs and 38 min, taking 33,537 images. Looking for lymphoma, Crohn's ulcerations, small bowel cancer, diverticula, and polyps. Nothing found. This was Jan 2022. Bidirectional endoscopy next week. Upper and lower.
