Gavilán was part of the MGSV development team as an environment artist, specifically handling the spherical harmonics lighting, but left before the project ended and was left uncredited in the finalized game.

@ASdepique87 @Arc_Hound Despite this document, you can still see some terms slip through the cracks now and again. "Target on board" in GZ was re-recorded into "Subject on board" in TPP, and you can still hear an "observation post" in place of a "guard post" in EP 32: TO KNOW TOO MUCH.

@ASdepique87 @Arc_Hound Sounds like the "glossary" we have in MGSV. It's very useful to have in a game where dialogue often gets very technical, and where terms can change during development.

I never understood this meme that Kojima insisted that all future translations of MGS after 1 to be as literal as possible (whatever that means) when the English scripts are chock-full of idiomatic expressions and puns that were different in Japanese.

Xの自動翻訳が細かい表現を訳せなかったり、逆にスラングをそのまま訳してしまう事、MGSV:TPPのコードトーカーの話を思い出します。 その言語が属する国の文化・イメージに根付いて"言葉"は生み出されているのでその背景を考慮せず言葉だけ自動翻訳すると意味が通らなくなってしまうんですよね。

CG WORLDの2015年10月号にはMGSVのメイキングが載っているのですが"『MGS4』までは基本移動は常に武器を持ったまま移動していたが、本作(V)では武器のバリエーションが大幅に増えた事もあり基本移動は素手になった" という裏事情が明かされていたので武器が多いとモーションの制作数も増えるんですよね
