The Call for Integrity in Crypto: A Wake-Up Call to the Community
The potential of cryptocurrency is nothing short of revolutionary. It holds the power to reshape the world, to fix what’s broken, and to level the playing field for humanity. It’s the most powerful equalization tool ever created, a beacon of hope for those tired of the status quo. Yet, too many within this space fail to see it—or worse, actively undermine it.
When we should be uniting, working together to dismantle the systems that oppress and exploit us, we instead turn on one another. We rob, cheat, lie, deceive, and criticize our peers. Instead of building bridges, we burn them. Instead of empowering others, we exploit them.
Some of you treat crypto like a video game—one with infinite respawns and no consequences. Every time you break it, fake it, or destroy a piece of its integrity, you brush it under the rug and move on as if nothing happened. But this isn’t a game. This is real life. And every act of deceit chips away at something that could have been monumental for humanity.
To those who are brilliant enough to build within this space: You have the ability to create tools that liberate people, that make the world freer and fairer for everyone. Yet some of you squander your brilliance by building systems designed to exploit, rob, and harm others. You steal not only from your victims but from yourself—your own value, your own potential.
You are morally bankrupt. The money you steal will never fill the void inside you. You are doomed to live in the shadows, devoid of self-worth or integrity. And perhaps worst of all, you may never know what it feels like to live a virtuous life—a life rooted in purpose, empathy, and contribution to something greater than yourself.
Empathy has slipped through our fingers. Virtue has been devalued in today’s society like a relic from a forgotten past. Aristotle once said: *“In order to choose wisely and act virtuously, the agent must desire to pursue the right course.”* But instead of pursuing wisdom or virtue, too many choose loudness over substance and envy over integrity. This generation seems more interested in being loud and wrong than quiet and right—and it’s shameful.
You are failing—not just yourselves but all of us who believed in what crypto could become. You are squandering what was handed to you by those who came before you—those who fought for innovation and freedom so that you could stand where you are today. You didn’t build this foundation alone; it was laid at your feet by generations who dared to dream bigger than themselves. And this is how you honor them? By tearing it apart? Shame on you.
To the scammers, cheats, exploiters, and thieves: **Shame on you** for what you’ve done—for betraying not only others but yourselves in the process. **Fuck you** for perpetuating harm in a space that was meant to heal and empower people. Everyone knows what you are—a piece of shit—including yourself. You can’t hide from that truth no matter how much money you steal or how many lies you tell yourself at night.
Unfortunately, your actions don’t just hurt you—they hurt all of us. If this continues unchecked, crypto itself might fail under the weight of your greed and deception. And while we’ll all pay a price for that failure in some way or another, rest assured that your cost will be far deeper than ours.
If these words don’t make you reflect on who you’ve become or what you’ve done—if they don’t make you question whether there’s still time to change—then perhaps you’re constitutionally incapable of living a life of value or virtue. Perhaps there’s no hope for someone like you—a person who has betrayed their family, their friends, their community, and themselves.
