First, the studio was in the office where I worked so I recall going back to get the book later. Second, on "burying the hatchet": You and I spoke on the phone for like an hour last summer and I thought we reached the agreement that I'd like us to have the same relationship I have with Gavin Ortlund (though obviously we agree on much more important things). In other words, we can publicly critique each other without it being dramatic or a big deal. You've done multiple episodes over the past few years devoted solely to critiquing me and that's fine. I just don't understand why I'm not allowed to critique you or your friends. Also, I don't know why you would hold someone like Jay Dyer in so high esteem who, it seems, believes you and I are going to hell for rejecting Orthodoxy and whose goal is to lead as many people as he can away from full communion with Christ's church. Honestly, who would you say is doing better work for Christ's one, holy, catholic and apostolic church: Me or Jay Dyer? So yeah, why can't the status quo be if a person makes an argument on a public platform, then public critique of the argument is warranted? And public behavior that contradicts Christian morality is also open to critique, but the critique should not be petty insults meant to simply abuse the person.
