@SiegeOC I’ve seen this comparison a few times but Rainbow Six Siege significantly underperformed at launch. Equally niche, equally steep learning curve but Ubisoft bought it back. Marathon absolutely has the potential to thrive

I think I speak for all Marathon fans when I say we want this game to be around for the long term. I am hopeful Sony will allow Bungie to do just that & continue to build this incredible world that is Marathon

Bungie gives us the best extraction game to date, one of the best art directions in a MP game ever, insanely tight gunplay and amazing end-game maps. Everyone who plays Marathon is having fun. Sad, broken man cries instead of enjoying what he enjoys (probably nothing)

@ChazIsGone @YOUPOSTBAD This game was a lot better than a 6, only that the half-cooked and unfinished story brought it down a bit. Still the closest thing we had to a Mad Max video game at the time, and more fun than Borderlands IMO

i'm putting together a working theory that every gamer has a really 6/10 mid game that they played when they were 14 and it's stuck with them forever

Returned from Abu Dhabi yesterday via Muscat. Relieved but at the same time utterly dismayed. Dismayed for normal people on both sides, just trying to live their lives. They laugh like us. I think most people in this country truly feel like they are out of options. Liverpool has always been the closest thing to a socialist city in this country and rightfully the residents of the city feel betrayed by Labour, which is of course not exclusive to Liverpool. Reform will likely win because of this.

@jimthegiant Stuff like this makes me laugh. I know my close mates aren’t the whole country, but out of about 20 of us, all working-class lads under 50 from Liverpool, only one would vote Green. Liverpool’s long been a Labour stronghold, but most of us would now vote Reform or Restore.
