Kim Georgeton for Lt. Governor of Ohio
Letโ€™s talk H1B. In March 2024, I got a call. My job was gone. So was everyone else's. Infosys didn't replace one or two of us. They replaced the whole department. Every. Single. One. Their guy chose to keep his friends employed over American workers. This isn't a story. It's a playbook. Here's what they don't tell you about H-1B abuse in Ohio: โ†’ Ohioans have lost ~$300M per H-1B worker cycle โ†’ Wages drop tens of thousands per replaced job โ†’ That money doesn't pay Ohio rent. Doesn't hit Ohio restaurants. Doesn't pay Ohio taxes. It leaves. Infosys paid $34M settling federal fraud charges for exactly this. Now Vivek Ramaswamy wants to be Ohio's governor. The same man whose company used H-1B visas 29 times. The same man who told Americans we "venerate mediocrity over excellence." He got fired from DOGE partly for saying that. He says he wants to reform H-1B now. His record says otherwise. I'm running for Lt. governor because I know what it feels like. To be told your job, your team, your livelihood just doesn't matter. Ohio workers matter. Ohio paychecks should stay in Ohio. We will solve this. Share this. ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ Vote @CaseyPutsch โ€” May 5 ๐Ÿ“‹ Register by April 6

๐Ÿšจ Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

We have an illegal and legal immigration problem in this country. The H-1B & OPT programs are being used to displace American workers and students by incentivizing American employers & institutions to import foreign labor. We need reform now.

In Texas, an H-1b family of 4 gets up to 500,000$ in tuition assistance. Seems unbelievable doesn't it? In California it is close to 750,000$. That's because and H4 dependent of an H-1b is eligible for in-state tuition assistance, after 12 months of state residency. And this is true in most US states. It badly impacts State colleges and pushes our US citizens out of state colleges, and into more expensive institutions, which many cannot afford. H4 dependents should go home and get their free education in India. Or they should pay the full ride, just like all the other foreign students on F-1. Absolutely insane that we have allowed this to go on for decades. We take money from the poorest Texans and give it away to the richest foreign families so foreign kids can get free college education.

We told whole generations of smart American kids to โ€œlearn to codeโ€ and get STEM degrees so they could strike it rich in Silicon Valley. Then we flooded their job market with cheap visa labor. And those visa laborers, in turn, hired more visa laborers. So much betrayal.

A CS professor at a mid-tier state university just sent me their internal placement data Fall 2023: 89% of their graduates had offers by graduation. Average starting salary $94k Spring 2024: 71% placement rate. Average dropped to $78k Fall 2024: 43% placement rate. Those who got offers averaged $61k Spring 2025: 31% of graduates employed in software roles six months out This semester? 19% placement rate and falling Faculty meeting last Tuesday got heated when the department chair suggested "pivoting curriculum toward AI collaboration skills" One professor stood up and said "we're teaching students to build the systems that eliminate their own jobs" The career fair last month had 12 companies show up. Half were MLMs and insurance sales Students keep asking why they're learning data structures when the job postings all say "3+ years experience with LLM integration" Professor told me the hardest part is the parent meetings "My daughter took out $140k in loans for this degree and she's working at Starbucks" Meanwhile the university is still running ads promising "94% job placement rates in high-growth tech careers" The disconnect is crushing everyone involved Faculty knows the industry has fundamentally shifted but the marketing department is still selling the 2019 dream These kids mortgaged their futures for careers that evaporated while they were in class

The Presidential Job Creation Scorecard has been updated. Bottom line, jobs have been trending down for months if not years as shown by this trendline chart. Media is too stupid to calculate that. Foreign Born workers have received 8,812,000 jobs since Jan 2007 Americans have received 9,066,000 jobs since Jan 2007 Foreign Born workers are at 49.3% and Americans are at 50.7% of workers in the workforce. guestworkervisas.com/scorecard.php

Nearly 400,000 H-1Bs were approved last year alone. Think thatโ€™s a lot? That number only counts the workers. It ignores family members here on H4 visas and ignores overstays. Does anyone in Washington understand the impact this is having on our communities and our country?

For decades, America has imported highly-skilled tech workers from around the world on H-1B visas. In 2024, over 70% of those workers came from India. But a new $100,000 fee for H-1B applicants could change that. CBS Newsโ€™ Shanelle Kaul traveled to the H-1B capital of the world to report on how that policy change is already impacting the pipeline of global talent coming to the U.S.
