🔴 COURT UPDATE – GGABA MURDER TRIAL Detective Assistant Superintendent of Police James Eserait, attached to Kabalagala Police Station, has told the court that he was the first officer to arrive at the scene where he found the accused, Christopher Okello. He testified that during their initial interaction, Okello allegedly confessed, saying he had been driven by a desire for wealth and had spent a considerable amount of time planning the alleged act. According to Eserait, Okello further disclosed that he had purchased several knives, some of which he allegedly used in the commission of the offence. The officer also told the court that Okello later expressed remorse for his actions and stated that he had personally contacted police through the emergency hotline 112 after the incident. The hearing continues. 📸 Photos by Moses Nsubuga | #VisionUpdates

This morning at about 9am, I spoke to Hon Hellen Nakimuli (Kalangala Woman MP) regarding a meeting of Opposition MPs that we were planning for tomorrow, and she was coordinating it as Shadow Minister for Information. At the time, she was literally driving herself to hospital for a surgery which she indicated was not major. Unfortunately, she has not made it out of theatre. She has died during the procedure. Kitalo nyo dala!

You've probably heard the story of the Three Wise Men who traveled to Bethlehem to honor the newborn Jesus (PBUH), but did you know that they established a church in Iran upon their return? This is it: St. Mary Church in Urmia, Iran, built in the 1st century AD.

Pomegranate Farming in Kenya: A Simple Guide to Growing the Ruby Fruit for Money Pomegranates are becoming more popular in Kenya, especially in dry areas where other fruits cannot grow well. Farmers in Makueni, Machakos, Kitui, Baringo, and along the Coast have discovered that this fruit does well even when rain is scarce. The fruit sells for good money in Nairobi supermarkets, with one kilogram going for up to 1,000 shillings in 2026. People are buying more pomegranates because they have heard that the fruit is good for their health and contains many antioxidants. A farmer who plants pomegranate seedlings today will wait 18 to 24 months to see the first fruits, but the tree will keep producing for 20 to 30 years. A tree that is 4 years old gives 15 to 25 kilograms of fruit every year. With 330 to 400 trees on one acre, the total harvest reaches 5,000 to 10,000 kilograms per year. At the farm gate, traders pay 300 to 500 shillings per kilogram, so one acre can bring in 1.5 to 5 million shillings every year when the trees are fully grown. This guide by Farmers Trend Ltd has all you need to know about growing pomegranates for money. You will learn which varieties to plant, how to prepare your land, how to space the trees, how to feed them, how to control pests, how to harvest, and how much money you can make. The information comes from farmers who are already growing pomegranates successfully and from agricultural research stations that study fruit crops. farmerstrend.co.ke/fruits/pomegra…

Ehh, so Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga seems to have endless time to fight fellow pastors like Pastor Kayanja… but somehow no time to save his own collapsing empire🤔🤔 Just last month, buried in the Daily Monitor notices, a bank moved to auction multiple properties under his Christian Life Ministries over an unpaid loan.... land and commercial buildings in Mulago Kibuga and Makerere Kibuga. Even more telling? Occupants were ordered to vacate within 14 days so buyers cld inspect😌😌 Turns out the loudest fights weren’t the most important ones and that you can’t cast out demons and ignore the debt collector.

Thank you to the National Police Chief for the offer, but I continue to decline personal police protection - whether 24-hour or otherwise. I have had nothing to fear so far, and I intend to work in such a way that I will have nothing to fear in the future. Hungary will become a place where no one who works and lives honestly has to be afraid. Thank you to our police officers for their service.

ANC SECRETARY GENERAL | Fikile Mbalula
The main message we are being told here by the racist Afriforum is that if we dare stand up for black people, dare stand up for the marginalised and dare stand up for our generational mission we will be targeted. When I fought for Julius to succeed me as ANCYL President we knew that the road ahead was treacherous and that the grandchildren of apartheid would never rest in their targeting of the Freedom in our lifetime Generation. This sentence is too harsh and my thoughts are with my brother Julius. Silamulele Peter Mokaba Silamulele.

President Trump is sending more military power to the Middle East as Iran rejects our initial peace offers—setting the escalation trap. We can avoid that trap if we are wise enough not to believe our own hype. Bombing Iranian equipment and killing leaders may produce great hype reels, but if the GWOT taught us anything, it is that tactical success does not equal strategic victory. To avoid a major disaster, we must first define what is truly vital to our national interests and act accordingly—regardless of optics of the daily news cycle. We need the Strait of Hormuz open so oil can flow and stability can return to the energy markets and the Gulf region. These are realistic, achievable goals. They can be reached by significantly reducing our military footprint in the region and lifting sanctions on Iran. We can then tout Iran’s agreement not to build a nuclear weapon as a clear win for the media. The key to avoiding the escalation trap and a disastrous quagmire is restraining Israel by drastically limiting the military aid we provide. Israel cannot sustain this fight without us, and will do everything they can to keep us engaged. We must pursue our own objectives, not theirs. If we try to impose a maximalist outcome on Iran (zero enrichment, etc.) this war will undoubtedly escalate—costing American lives, billions more dollars, and ultimately eroding our global standing. We must learn from our past and recognize when it is time to cut our losses and walk away. In the end, working to restore order will strengthen America far more than any military action ever could.
