In Phoenix AZ, the sun rose at 6:46am this morning. It set 6:31pm this evening. They are on Permanent Standard Time. They love it. We should all be like Arizona.

Which color zone do you live in, and which is your preference - Daylight Standard or Daylight Savings?

Sunrise where I live was 7:06 am this morning. Perfect. It's 4PM sunsets that are the worst. Daylight savings all the way.

No. Evenings have more daylight in the summer, anyways. I don’t think it should get dark at like 9:30 in the summer because that’s annoying as heck.

@The_Acumen For me hell is darkness at 4PM. I want to enjoy the day after work, not be ready for bed.

There’s nothing I enjoy about spring forward. I don’t like the sun still being out between 8 and 9pm. It’s ridiculous I’m gonna be in this time vortex of hell for 8 months!

America doesn’t need direct file It needs return-free filing. The IRS already has all your taxable data. Every year the IRS should either send you a bill or a check. If you think they got it wrong then you can file.

@groovyfinds @lymanstoneky Again not saying you should move. Im saying airlines keep upping fees for everything, including being able to select seats, among other things. And its shitty.

@Christene @lymanstoneky I wouldn't mind if I was traveling alone or on a budget, seems great for those flyers...but if I pay for a seat I want that seat.

I know airlines might think like this, but it would be a huge mistake. If you seat me separate from my kids, I'm going to just put my kids in the seats around me anyways, and when the person who paid for them comes up, my kids are gonna make sad eyes and I'll ask "Do you mind switching?" and people usually just say yes. actually, it's even more ridiculous: when I check in, I just ask the person at the counter, "We've been seated separately, any way you could put us together?" and then they almost always do it for free! but it involved making all the people checking bags behind me wait for 5 minutes while the clerk rearranges seats. airlines could save everybody time and frustration by just seating families together.

@groovyfinds @lymanstoneky Again, my trips every year, on JetBlue, always selecting the cheapest seats, not being able to select seats is new. Last year was the first time I did not have 2 seats together. And they were not inexpensive.

@alexaldente If you buy two tickets at the same time they should be next to each other. That's how it was until very recently. Airlines are just price gouging us now. That is ridiculous.
