@fitstix@WarMonitorINTL This is the official press release from the White house.
"We received a 10 point proposal from Iran .."
They're being dictated terms to. Iran won, they hold all the cards.
@SNipples89294@RoxysRumble@0hour1 This is the press release from the white house. "we received a ten point proposal from Iran."
Iran is dictating the terms of the ceasefire. Period.
Honestly
Can someone tell me the key objectives in this mess, and were they met?
We wasted a lot of money and lives, at what outcome?
I want the raw facts on this ordeal because I can't see the point of what went on.
@GhostOfRocks@WarMonitorINTL Irans force projection doesn't come from its air force or navy.
It comes from its ballistic missile and drone capabilities which were still intact enough to down US aircraft and turn Al Udeid into a ruin.
Their navy achieved it's goal of mining Hormuz. They won.
@GhostOfRocks@WarMonitorINTL You're comically fucking stupid and don't understand modern warfare.
Study Vietnam, Afghanistan, asymmetric warfare generally. You can lose tactically and win strategically.
The US spent almost 100B in a month. Iran could make enough drones with that money to last 15 years.
Victory was not achieved by Iran alone.
Hezbollah played a significant role in this victory, as did the resistance factions in Iraq and Syria. And also, our dear Yemen, which the enemy had taken into serious consideration during the war.
We congratulate you all on this great victory.
@VegasJoe69@jacksonhinklle This is the fundamental problem with US global military strategy. It doesn't matter how many toys you have when you can drone strike your enemies bases across the region, mine a global economic artery and sit back and watch the world burn.
You learned nothing from Vietnam& Iraq
Trump: do as I say, or I will bomb you back to the stone ages
Iran: best I can do is this 10 point plan where you give us everything we want
Trump: deal!
FoxNews: Trump is a master negotiator
@GhostOfRocks@WarMonitorINTL Ah yes, 250 dead politicians and generals in a country of 90 million people. Only to end up with more radical elements of the IRGC in charge of the country. What a regime change.
Congratulations, your president made Iran the preeminent power in the region.
@watchingthewea1@ianmiles Read a book on the Vietnam war.
You can win tactically and still lose strategically.
You don't need an air force when you can drone strike your enemies bases, mine a global economic artery and sit back and watch the world burn.
@JakeWat20160603@jonssap@RoxysRumble@0hour1 They don't know much about Iranian politics or society in general; because Fox News doesn't inform them of anything besides "they're the evil enemy."
This is why American regime change constantly fails. An inability to understand the complex nature of islamic world politics.
@GhostOfRocks@WarMonitorINTL Also, opening the straight was not a war goal. The straight was open before the war began.
The war goal was regime change, which didn't happen, and nuclear disarmament, which didn't happen because there are no nukes to disarm. They destroyed those facilities last summer.
@GhostOfRocks@WarMonitorINTL Hey dumbass, if they are "opening" it by choice, that means they fucking control it.
"Open" and "closed" are not the same as "under control by."
It's under control by the people who are making the decision to open and close it, and that's Iran.
@OleMissStan@OsirusRagnarok@WarMonitorINTL Free passage through Hormuz isn't a war demand because it was open before the war began.
The goals were regime change and that didn't happen, and "nuclear disarmament" which already allegedly, by POTUS own words, happened last summer. They failed. Vietnam part 2.
@Collin3374@OsirusRagnarok@WarMonitorINTL Apparently, Iran has agreed to at least 11 of the terms on the US proposal too. Including free passage through Hormuz and no nukes.
@OleMissStan@OsirusRagnarok@WarMonitorINTL This is an official statement from the Whitehouse. "we received a 10 point proposal from Iran."
They're dictating terms. End of story.
@CodyBearCox@WarMonitorINTL And they're STILL shooting missiles and drones at Tel Aviv even after agreeing to a ceasefire with the US. They won. It's a political victory.
@CodyBearCox@WarMonitorINTL Yeah because they fucking did.
You can lose the tactical military situation and still win the war. Vietnam happened half a century ago read a fucking book.
It's completely irrelevant Iran lost its air force. It's navy maintains the capacity to control Hormuz.
