Bournvile 0-5 WCFC U12 Lions MOTM Vinny we couldn’t pick one today because the whole team played so well so we asked the opposition to choose and all of his players chose Vinny who did score to goals and battled so well.

Bromsgrove SC u12 1-5 WCFC u12 Back to winning ways this week, Archie was coaches MotM controlling the game in midfield and scoring twice, with Stanley the parents MotM for another solid game at full back, also starting off some good attacks for us down the right side.

U12 Lions 1-2 Burntwood Dragons MOTM: Aiden man of the match today, battled away in midfield and took the threat of their long goal kicks out if the game with his instant control and trying to get us straight back on the attack

U8s MJPL - Fantastic performance from the lads today against a tough opposition. Brilliant passing out from the back, playing football the right way. One more win required to win the group

WCFC U12 lions 7-2 Olton Ravens They played some amazing football all the way from defense up to the forwards with complete composer. Our MOTM Isaac he played today with such pace and aggression we would have been scared to defend against him.

U9s - Solihull youth academy white Jacob was awarded coaches player of the match for his strong defensive display. Harlow was awarded parents player of the match for his energy, determination and workrate.

Under 8 Lions v Inkberrow Great game today at the cricket club. Some well taken goals and happy Mums to go with it!

Well, what a day! If there's a group of lads I knew I could rely on, it was this group 💙 We have gone and won our last junior League campaign with a game to spare 🏆 We travelled to 2nd placed Walmley Colron where a point would have secured the League title. But who wants a point when you can take all 3 and really WIN the League. Things could have gone against us this morning...the pitch wasn't the best after rainfall through the night and the grass being long...the Referee deciding not to turn up so the Walmley Coach taking control of the game...odds were stacking against us but these lads have a different attitude and a different mentality this season. And I have to give credit to the Walmley Coach and even their lino, their decisions were made honestly and not with the situation in mind. But we were poor in the 1st Half. One of the worst I've seen us in recent times. Not winning first or second balls, we couldn't get our foot behind the ball, our defensive line was completely off and Walmley could have bagged a few goals had they have been more clinical or if our Keeper wasn't on top form. And it says something when you get questioned about your Keeper by the opposition Manager as to how good he was. 2nd Half after some harsh truths, we showed who we really were. We went back to basics and allowed our attacking players to do what they do. We ran out 6 - 1 winners! There will never be enough time or enough words to express just how proud I am to have been a part of all of this. Knowing a handful of these lads since they were 6 years old and then bringing in players every couple of years, becoming what must be one of the most successful 11 a side junior teams at Borough and in the 10 years of doing this, I can't remember a time where we've caused the Club an issue. This group has been a major asset to the Club and one I believe should be the standard of how teams conduct themselves. We have just one more League game left and then a League Cup to have a go at but very soon this will come to an end. I was ok with that back in June, but it's come so close now and so quickly that the last 10 years are really starting to flood me...but all with happy memories and friendships that I genuinely hope last forever. The support I have been given, as a complete stranger from a bunch of strangers, to guide their kids through this weird and wonderful game of football, and to have been allowed to have been a part of their lives, I cannot thank the lads parents enough. You have trusted me for these 10 years and I hope you feel that trust has been rewarded. The next couple of months is all about this team now for me, to achieve one more trophy if we can, but to continue a bond and a togetherness that I can only relate to what I had when I was a junior player myself. The good old days of Headless Cross. I think I may have actually come pretty close to replicating what we had there...and we had it good! Under 7s v Boldmere St Michael’s JA PPOM - Oscar Cleaned up any bits that came his way with a solid defensive performance MPOM - George It’s hard not to give an award to someone who scored 8 goals and only played half the game

WCFC U12 Lions 3-3 Sportsco Today’s man of the match Ronnie he played at the back and was so calm and cool with the ball every time he got a hold of it and pulled off some really really really important tackles. Good at the office for us.
