Jesus already came and proved he was God, and even then they rejected him, for their eyes and ears decieved them. Because you reject Jesus in your heart, if you were given this "proof" you demand, you wouldn't believe it, for your eyes have been made not to see. Only Christ can lift you up, and that is so none may boast about there salvation. Look what happened in the Old Testement, when the Elect knew who they were, and became pompous and publiclly pious about their salvation and oppressed the population. There are no "denominations" of Christianity. Christianity is not a religion, as being a "Christian" means being elected by God for eternal life and service. Catholics do not follow Christ and do everything he forbade like idol worship, necromancy, blood rituals, works lead to salvation, calling a man father(pope) other than Christ, public fasting and piety, chanting and babbling in prayer, etc...
