Honest question: Can readers really detect a writer’s nationality? If I gave you a novel with no author name attached, would you know whether it was written by an American, a Russian, or an Asian writer? Or are we all just telling human stories in different accents?

@ThemeParkLore The struggle with giant corporate names vs. actual readability is real. Our general rule is to use the full official name the very first time you mention it, but switch to simple words like 'the attraction' or 'the zone' right after so readers don't lose their minds.

It's crazy that if you want to demonstrate journalistic standards and use proper names (which I really try to) you have to be like, "especially enjoyable at at UNIVERSAL KIDS RESORT is BELLO! MEET THE MINIONS in ILLUMINATION'S MINIONS VS MINIONS: BELLO BAY CLUB"
