Welcome back, @Rapido_ai ! ⚙️
Back in Compute Horde to strengthen Subnet 12’s trust layer powering decentralized GPU compute.

We’ve released a focused dashboard for Organic Jobs on Subnet 12- real, non‑synthetic requests processed in the consumer→validator flow.
The dashboard surfaces the signals visible today:
Throughput
Success and error rates
Consumer→validator routing distribution
Use these signals to monitor demand, communicate adoption, and guide capacity planning over time.

ComputeHorde just moved to Yuma3. With CH2.0 out, we’re tidying up the fundamentals.
Bond penalty stays at 1, but liquid alpha 2 is on.
Weight copiers can copy all they want — their vtrust might look good half the time, but dividends? firmly on the floor.
“But wait — there are no WCs left on your subnet?” Correct- yet let them come back. We have the popcorn ready. 🍿

@ComputeHorde @404gen_ Love seeing subnets fuel each others growth

I’ve been talking about #Bittensor pretty much every day for over three years now
When I first started posting, $TAO was under $15..
And honestly, apart from a few small groups tucked away and some absolute legends spreading the gospel.. there wasn't a lot of chatter about it online
Back then, it wasn't really about the price.. it was just obvious that there was something special about #Bittensor
I started posting every day, trying to break the vision down piece by piece.. one thread or post at a time
I remember thinking..
“This shit is genius.. but it’s too complex for most people to understand”
So I tried to bridge that gap.. to break it down in simple terms, to make it relatable and to show why it matters..
Not from a technical angle, but from a dumbed down human one
It wasn’t always perfect, my dumb monkey brain is not that great and half the time I was learning as I went.. but I felt it was needed
To help spread the word about what $TAO was creating.. even if it meant figuring it out in real time with everyone else
I just hoped a few people would see what I saw..
That this thing could change everything.. and maybe give them a chance to jump aboard before the rest of the world caught on
Because #Bittensor was never just another crypto project.. It was something new all together
A network where intelligence itself is decentralized, shared and rewarded
A powerful, open system where knowledge competes, collaborates and evolves
Where incentives literally drive the creation of intelligence
That shit is fucking powerful..
At its core, #Bittensor is the coordination layer for all intelligence.. the protocol that could define how humanity builds and aligns AI at scale
Looking at it now.. it’s grown into something far bigger and more powerful than I initially imagined
It’s moving faster, attracting absolute chads and starting to ripple through the wider world..
Yet.. it still feels super damn early
My conviction in #Bittensor is stronger than it’s ever been
I’m proud of every single person who’s helped push this thing forward..
Everyone in the community who’s been out there spreading the word along the way..
Every builder who saw the potential of #Bittensor and decided to take the leap..
All the people quietly running the infrastructure that keeps this shit alive and growing..
And now its the new wave.. the guys and girls helping take $TAO to the level it deserves to be
I’m just a tiny barnacle hanging onto the side of some insanely talented whales.. yelling from the back while they quietly build one of the most groundbreaking technologies humanity’s ever seen
Its been wild watching this evolve from a small idea into a global movement
There has been some dark days, for sure.. but now is where the real fun begins
#Bittensor is about to take the world by storm..
You ready?

AI compute demand growth is twice the rate of efficiency growth.
What does this mean?
Unless GPUs become more efficient this will become the most sought after commodity for AI.
Here's a list of crypto protocols that could benefit from this insatiable demand:
- @USDai_Official: GPU backed lending protocol
- @gaib_ai: Tokenizes enterprise GPU yields into tradable assets
- @AethirCloud: Enterprise-grade DePIN GPU cloud
- @rendernetwork: GPU compute for 3D rendering, visuals
- @ionet: 70% cheaper than AWS in providing compute
- @0G_labs: Modular L1 with GPU clusters for verifiable compute
- @spheron: Generates demand via a permissionless compute marketplace
- @akashnet: Open source market place for cloud computing resources
- @Livepeer: A decentralized video streaming network that leverages GPU resources for efficient transcoding and processing of live video streams
- @Theta_Network: EdgeCloud leverages user GPUs for decentralized video rendering and AI inference
- @golemproject: Peer-to-peer compute marketplace renting idle GPUs for rendering/AI tasks globally
TAO + Subnets:
- SN 64: @chutes_ai
- SN51: @lium_io
- SN27: @neural_internet
- SN12: @ComputeHorde
Price and revenue are reasonably well correlated, so one to watch the income numbers rather than pure speculation!
What other protocols will benefit from this GPU demand?

The Kobeissi Letter@KobeissiLetter
This is BEYOND insane: AI compute demand is now growing at over 2 TIMES the rate of Moore’s Law, creating a massive shortage. Just to meet current demand, $500 billion must be invested in data centers PER YEAR until 2030. What does this mean? Let us explain. (a thread)
English

@TauShaman Revenue isn’t direct payments today. Validators compete for organic jobs by buying alphas- if they don’t, others take their share. This creates demand pressure at validator level, while miners still earn via incentives + scoring. Collateral further reduces short-term sell
English

@ComputeHorde Whats your revenue? how are you going to offset miners sell pressure?
English

🔥Burn reduced- mining is now more profitable.
Payouts are set slightly above fluid stack price (~$0.7/h) with 9 boxes needed.
👉Got an A6000? Time to mine.
ComputeHorde | SN12@ComputeHorde
🚨 Miners Wanted 🚨 We’re expanding the Compute Horde and need 9x A6000 GPUs to join the ranks. The burn will be reduced, so the profit should now be more reasonable. ⚒️ Bring your coding + infra skills 💰 Earn rewards in sn12 alpha 👉 Ready to join?
English

A very valid question 👍
This is still a pilot, at the moment sn17 jobs use our compute allowance (ie resulting from us holding sn12 alpha). They generate validation challenges, send them out to their validators who in turn send them out to the miners. We started it up this way to speed thing up, to have non-artifitial load in our system.
We are working with sn17 team to devise a proper way. When we are ready to explain the details, we definitely will :)
So to sum up, this collaboration is about exploring both the technical viability and the possible economics.
English

@ComputeHorde @404gen_ How does a partnership like this work? Does subnet 17 have to hold subnet 12 alpha to get compute? I was thinking subnet 12 was more along the lines of using compute to validate but this doesn't look like the case in this collab.
English

🚀 Compute Horde 2.0 is Live — and we’re welcoming our first pilot client: @404gen_ !
SN17’s mission: Democratize 3D Content Creation.
What does this mean?
@404gen_ accelerates the creation of 3D models, giving creators of all skill levels the assets needed to build immersive worlds, games, and AR/VR/XR experiences.
How it works on Bittensor:
Miners take Text Prompts (from both Synthetic and Organic Traffic) and generate High Quality 3D Models, returning them in seconds. Due to user demand, SN17 is introducing a brand new feature: 2D-to-3D (image prompts)
How It Works with SN12:
SN12 generates High Quality 2D Renders from batched prompts feeding SN17’s 2D-to-3D pipeline.
Our inference outputs go to SN17 validators and are pulled as synthetic traffic tasks for SN17's Miners.
SN17 taps into our GPUs on-demand- scaling usage without buying or maintaining clusters.
⚡ Welcome aboard, SN17.
🌍 Let’s democratize 3D content creation together.
