WHAT IS A BULL WORTH?? Well, not much…unless he is backed by solid cows, molded by their environmental pressures. These cows are the dams of and full, three quarter and half siblings to the bulls selling March 20th. Genetics built to forage.

@Connor_English1 They are a 5/8” pellet.. just over 1/2” across and between 1 and 2” long. 20%CP about 75TDN.

-20 something this morning. Just started pelleting cows a couple of times a week. Protein tricks the rumen to boost forage intakes. Thankful for the inch of snow so I don’t have to cut ice. #rumentricks #grazingtraining

Corn grazing started early with drought and lack of cover crops close by. We added eshepherd collars to the cows and heifers. They seem to be providing good control. Next couple weeks we’ll wean steers and put collars on heifers and bulls. Moves already planned out for this week

Thank god we kept the house bathtub from the 60’s

We are hosting a tour of our Corn / @covers_co grazing field. Monday, Nov 3, 2025 I am very impressed with how this concept has worked so far! The bred heifers we have for sale will be on display grazing in this field. Hope to see you there!
