Whatever his sordid personal history, I think Hegseth is second only to Rubio in terms of success among the cabinet secretaries.
The operations he has overseen have been exceptional from a military standpoint. To the extent Iran has given us some trouble it's due to the vulnerability of the Strait of Hormuz, which is a greater strategic problem that isn't really on Hegseth. The buck stops with Trump on that one. The military has executed its job so well that the Iranians celebrate when they shoot down a single plane.

Mark my words. Pete Hegseth will be fired in disgrace and go down as the worst Department of Defense (Department of War) hire in United States history. Trump will blame everything on him and he will be brought up on charges for international war crimes in both Iran and Venezuela.

Riverside County is one of the best counties in the state for getting a carry permit. The fees are low (for California) at under $200 plus the training course, either the lowest or close to the lowest in the state.
They also process permits very quickly comparatively, often under a month.

We must be clear eyed about what is at stake with the Supreme Court right now. We cannot allow Donald Trump to hand pick one, if not two, additional justices. The nation's highest court must be stopped from becoming even more beholden to him.

NEW: Pam Bondi was fired, in part, because President Trump believed she had tipped off Eric Swalwell, according to the Daily Mail.
Trump reportedly believes Bondi had tipped off Swalwell about the FBI's effort to share investigative documents about his relationship with an alleged Chinese spy.
"The FBI was preparing a cache of documents on Swalwell's relationship with Christine Fang," the Daily Mail reports.
"She's intervening in those matters. The White House wasn't pleased she was intervening due to her personal friendship with Swalwell," a source told the Daily Mail.

Update, it was just the ammo. It doesn't like the remanufactured Super Vel.
Just went through a bunch of factory new Speer Lawman without issue.
Also, this video earned me a "one shot per second" warning from the range staff 😑
Never had an issue following that rule before but it's so hard to *not* shoot this gun fast!

Well, I *was* having fun with my first 2011 🤣 Tonight after a couple mags it failed to go fully into battery, so I pushed it forward and fired the chambered round (perhaps that was an error, though it was a pretty gentle push I didn't need to force it or anything). Now it's totally locked up, not sure what to do but maybe one of you knows. It only has about 300 rounds through it, and cleaned and oiled it after the first 100. I know it has a bit of a break-in period, though this was my first issue with it. But it's a pretty big issue! I could try and really force it open but I dont want to break it.
