Heavy snow and strong winds will impact the state this afternoon through Monday. Blizzard conditions are expected in NYC, LI & portions of the Mid-Hudson. Snowfall rates of 2-3"/hour are expected. Gusty winds up to 65 mph may cause power outages. Coastal flooding is possible.

Our new all-terrain rescue vehicle is on Long Island supporting our storm response. It can carry more than 20 people and will assist local crews with search and rescue operations. We’re ready for whatever this storm brings.

NYC Weather Alert: Blizzard Warning!   A Blizzard Warning is in effect from 6 AM Sunday to 6 PM Monday, with increasing confidence in a significant coastal storm bringing heavy snow. Snowfall rates may reach 2 to 3 inches per hour.   ❄️ Snow totals are currently forecast at 13–17 inches, with higher amounts possible. Snow will begin Sunday morning and rapidly intensify Sunday evening, with the heaviest snowfall overnight into Monday morning. 🌬️ Winds: Northeast winds of 25–40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph, creating low visibility and hazardous travel, and dangerous conditions across the city. 🌊 Coastal Flooding: Minor to moderate flooding possible in shoreline areas.   🚨 Travel Monday morning could be extremely dangerous.
