@Robbo817 @DistanceCovered From the early signs in pre season, I think the key attributes for Slot is your ability with the ball back to the play, tight spaces and progressive passes. I wouldn't be shocked if it's not a conventional 6. More of a Thiago/Mac clone

Based on what slot needs, a playmaking midfielder in a double pivot, Alan Varela would be a very good fit. Similar to how Arne Slot used Orkun Kokcu in a double pivot that helped him win the Dutch league

@ZoeyLi27 @Mobyhaque1 I just remember watching him last year for u23s when we were interested in Kone. He ran the game and has been progressing well at Lyon, also has the statistics to back him up. I know he's small but his pressing and tackling is very underrated
