Remember when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived late at the Mountbatten Festival of Music 2020 at the Royal Albert Hall and treated the applause like it was for their grand entrance? The audience was already giving a standing ovation to the Royal Marines Band Service & Harry giving that little wave, both of them nodding and Meghan grinning as if they were acknowledging their own applause… when it had absolutely nothing to do with them🤭 It just screamed misplaced self-importance and turned into one of those classic secondhand embarrassment moments 😭

By law they have to tell you what may lay ahead. It's like companies giving side effect warnings. BUT, we know that Jesus said, to all who believe, that HE will never leave us or forsake us. So, be of good cheer, and know that HIS angels are also there with you. You will be in good hands and loving care all the way through.

Reality sinking in now, just saw surgeon who told me my surgery will be a lot more invasive than I initially thought. I’m not allowed to do anything for next few days because of stitches 😭 I really wish they wouldn’t spend 20 minutes explaining all the things that COULD go wrong in surgery. I don’t see how that helps. Basically I could wake up fine or I could wake up in another hospital having a blood transfusion after major surgery, needing a stoma. Then they say now relax! Relax? I’m ready to run the f outta here 🏃‍♀️

@Claire_journo They're all at Greatest Hits. Alex Lester is criminally underused over there, as he was at Radio 2. He should have taken over from Wogan. Andy Crane's on the daytime subs' bench. Both are too good to be even considered by the BBC.

If only there was a pool of talent, professional experienced radio presenters who'd been replaced by TV stars and celebrities, to choose from when replacing Scott Mills....

@donsue45 Exactly. Meghan helped those Grenfell women and many others by putting her passion, skills and energy to use. A modern working woman who has empathy. Kate literally wants to hide in her luxury palaces and give lip service to the taxpayers.

Meghan Markle just has a different, more modern and dynamic energy. Kate Middleton is staid, traditional and very moody. Meghan speaks her mind, rolls up her sleeves, and builds her own projects from the ground up by adopting a totally modern, personable and relatable approach.
