Drove home, wondering if he just scored big or got played. Later, reality started to set in. The size. The quality. The reputation people online were warning about. Suddenly, that “deal” didn’t feel like a steal anymore. It felt like a lesson. If a deal feels too good to be true… it usually comes with a catch you don’t see until it’s too late. Be honest. If you saw “20 ribeyes for $39.99” in a parking lot… are you walking away or taking the risk just to see?

This younger generation places all its faith in automation, don’t hire staff to answer phones and just like X, haven’t thought of all the reasons someone might need customer support- and if the problems you have don’t fit their predetermined criteria, you’re just screwed. Customer service is dead in this country.

Pulled into a bob evans to get lunch. Walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. Seen 4 waiters kinda standing around, no one there to seat me. I almost sat myself when someone walked up to me. “Are you here to dine in?” “Yes, just 1” “Its gona be a 30min wait to seat you, we got slammed with a tour bus of people” I looked around at 2 dozen empty tables and asked “what do you tell people when ur really busy?” She obviously didn’t get it. I left. But i found the bus in the nearly empty parking lot that had them all clogged up 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 Holy fuck these places deserve to go out of business! Cash in hand and they told me to leave

We had beach access with our rental in Seacrest Beach. Spent 30 minutes on our beach for the entire week because sitting on a beach is boring. I am 0.5 miles from a beach in Naples and the only time we ever go to the beach is by boat (we live on a canal with the boat in the back yard). We like to sight-see and tour the area when we travel so we spent most of our time driving up and down 30A and further west. Pensacola beach, and the beach between Pensacola beach and Navarre was wide open with lots of access Grayton Beach was open with access. There was a state park beach that was open somewhere west of us. But the fact that we couldn’t dine and shop and then walk on the beach, or step foot on the beach to watch sunset was stupid

I used to walk my dog on this beach in 30A. Now I can’t even access it. Paradise lost. Private beaches, coming to a Florida town near you.
