Recently @NoahCEO was in attendance at a special luncheon in Birmingham on Friday, Jan. 30, as Noah Basketball was honored as Small Company of the Year at the Business Alabama Awards.
We are extremely grateful to receive this honor and appreciate @BusinessAlabama Magazine for this recognition and the opportunity to represent Alabama on the world stage.

Why does almost every NBA team use @noahbasketball for shot-tracking data?
@Zaknoble and I spoke with CEO John Carter about going from running hundreds of free shooting clinics around the USA…
…to being in charge of the industry standard in jumpshot optimization.

Excited to partner with the Joe Gibbs Human Performance Institute to provide a direct link between biomechanics data and shot-tracking analytics for comprehensive insights on shooting performance.
The combination of kinematic and kinetic data acquisition with the shot-tracking expertise of the Noah system will finally answer the questions that every basketball player, coach, and NBA front office executive has wanted to know for decades.

Here is a better look at the “Noah Shooting System” in action.
This is following a workout that John Welch recently put Adou Thiero through.
On the left of the screen you can see Thiero’s shooting percentages, but more importantly his “in the zone” percentages for arc, depth, and left/right.
The “Splash Zone” combines arc, depth, and left/right. It goes more in depth on the right of the screen, per shot.
(Note: The perfect shot would be: 45% arc, 11”depth, and 0 L/R.)
The middle of the screen features a rim map in the middle that tracks where each shot lands.

In the background, you can notice Kentucky using a new shooting analytic software. It is called the “Noah Shooting System”, and it helps track shots in real time. It works by using a sensor above the rim to measure shots anywhere on the court, providing instant feedback for shot arc, depth, left/right, allowing players to correct their shot in real time.
