Holy f*ck. Word for word. Ana Kasaparian (Extreme Left Wing) and Nick Fuentes (Extreme Right Wing) paint themselves as polar opposites on the political spectrum. However, listen to them here, side by side. This is horseshoe theory on fully display.

Normal, sane, people on X need to come to grips with the following reality The people getting the clicks on X are largely driven by foreign accounts trying to promote extreme points of views It happened when the left controlled Twitter, it's happening now when the right is dominant What this means is that many Americans on the left have been radicalized to think that men can be women and that cops want to kill black people...it also means many Americans on the right have been radicalized to be antisemitic and to think isolationism is the way forward So if you're still here, try to find sane people, unswayed by engagement, to give you honest takes on what's happening...otherwise you're just joining a cult

People forget this part of history. Israel defeated Egypt in war and then gave back the entire Sinai Peninsula - an area bigger than Israel itself - in exchange for peace. Israel withdrew from Gaza completely in 2005, removing its own settlements and citizens. Parts of the West Bank were handed over to Palestinian governance under the Oslo Accords. The Golan Heights wasnโ€™t returned because Syria never made peace and the area overlooks northern Israel strategically. So the narrative that Israel just โ€œoccupies land and never gives anything backโ€ is simply not true. Land was returned where peace was possible. Land was held where war was still the reality. Thatโ€™s not ideology. Thatโ€™s strategy and survival.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท An American pilot with 25 years of experience, a veteran of three wars and hundreds of combat sorties, spoke about Israeli military pilots. He published a post that quickly went viral: โ€œIโ€™ve flown over Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. I thought I had seen everything. But when I saw what the Israeli Air Force is doing in Iran, I realized Iโ€™m still a student. Precision. Logistics. 200 aircraft in one night. 500 targets. 1,500 kilometers. No aerial refueling from American bases. All the fuel from home. All the weapons from home. Itโ€™s like flying from Miami to New York, bombing targets along the way, and returningโ€” while 200 aircraft move simultaneously without a single collision. To the Israeli pilots: You are not just the best in the Middle East. You are the best in the world. And thatโ€™s the final word.โ€

Iran was trying to use the North Korean model to get a nuke: create sufficient conventional deterrence so you wonโ€™t be challenged in acquiring one (itโ€™s called the Seoul Hostage Problem). This has been explained over and over since day one. Everyone claiming shifting goalposts or no imminent threat has been lying. The reason North Korea was allowed to get nukes is because Seoul (and its 10 million inhabitants) is within artillery and rocket range of North Korea. During the 1994 nuclear crisis, the Clinton administration seriously considered airstrikes on North Koreaโ€™s Yongbyon reactor but backed off precisely because of the artillery threat to Seoul. Iran was trying to accomplish the same by stockpiling missiles and drones which would have had the same deterrent effect. The proof is what Iran has been doing in the past month: attacking all its neighbors in order to pressure the US to stop attacking it Beyond this, they were building medium-range ballistic missiles that could reach Paris and London, meaning all of Europe could be held hostage as they built a nuclear bomb. The reason Iran has not built a nuclear weapon until now is not because it couldnโ€™t, but because it knew it would be attacked and denied this capability. So by allowing them to continue developing this conventional deterrence, you would be allowing Iran to get a nuclear weapon. And unlike North Korea, Iran is led by an eschatological death cult Reagan saw nuclear mutually assured destruction (MAD) as both morally bankrupt (because of the innocent-body-count problem) and dangerously fragile because it assumed flawless rationality between adversariesโ€ฆthis means it only takes one irrational actor to destroy the world. Working backwards from the conclusion that Iranโ€™s Islamist regime must never have a nuclear weapon, it was necessary for the US to attack Iran to deny it the conventional capacity to hold the entire eastern hemisphere hostage. Every European leader knows this and behind the scenes praises the US for this action. But they are cowards, held hostage by their own internal Muslim populations, and so adopt these ridiculous public positions. This was never about Israel. And if your argument is that Iran should be allowed to get a nuclear weapon then you are a fool and a traitor to western civilizationโ€ฆyouโ€™re a useful idiot

๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ผ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Rare moment of truth at the UN from brave Kuwaiti dissident @JJJuraid, invited by UN Watch: โ€œMr. Chair, I heard the term โ€œcolonizers.โ€ But who are the real colonizers? A Jewish Kingdom ruled in Judea for a thousand years. We, the Arabs, took this land. Who Arabized Egyptians, Phoenicians, Persians and Amazighs? It was us, the Arabs. So why does the council enshrine a lie by keeping a permanent agenda item on Palestine, while ignoring the indigenous heart of Israel returning home? Let us be clear about who is actually defending our sovereignty. Today, Israel is a fighter for peaceful nations, freeing Gaza from Hamas terrorists and saving Iranians from the Islamic Republic. What Israel is doing to the IRGC โ€” stopping a genocidal regime from acquiring nuclear weapons โ€” is a gift to humanity. There are 57 Islamic countries and only one Jewish state, Israel. Despite the ongoing hateful desire to eliminate it, Israel has not only survived, it has thrived. I donโ€™t believe in miracles, but this is one. So I ask the UN: when will you end the ritual of condemning Israel? Is it not time, instead, to learn from Israel? How to defeat terror, defend free societies, and pursue peace. Thank you.โ€ What a refreshing act of integrity and truth. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.

Bert Stephens in NYT today: โ€œFor once, we fight with an equal allyโ€. โธป Bret Stephens Opinion Columnist For most of the postwar era, the United States has gone to war with partners whose military contributions ranged from moderately helpful to mainly symbolic. Britain in Afghanistan and Iraq comes to mind in the first case. Germany in the 1999 Kosovo war comes to mind in the second. The war against Iran is different. As of Monday, Central Command reports that the United States had struck over 7,000 targets inside Iran. Israel, for its part, had carried out some 7,600 strikes, according to a representative of the Israeli military. This may be the first time since the Second World War that Washington has had an equal partner with which to share the burdens of war. Thatโ€™s a good starting point from which to consider the claim that the U.S. war with Iran is really a war for Israel. Past administrations have, in fact, gone to war for other countries. In the early 1990s, we went to war in the Persian Gulf for the sake of freeing Kuwait and defending Saudi Arabia โ€” two countries that couldnโ€™t defend themselves โ€” from Iraq. Later that decade, we went to war in the Balkans after Europe proved shamefully unable to police its own neighborhood. In both cases, American presidents believed they were serving the national interest. But the military helplessness of our allies was a major factor in the decision to intervene. As for Israel, the charge that the United States has gone to war for it isnโ€™t new. In 1990, Patrick Buchanan insisted that the only groups in favor of a war against Saddam Hussein over his invasion of Kuwait were โ€œthe Israeli Defense Ministry and its amen corner in the United States.โ€ (That amen corner, Buchanan later indicated, consisted of the columnists A.M. Rosenthal and Charles Krauthammer, the defense expert Richard Perle and Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state. Spot the commonality.) Opponents of the later Iraq war also spun a tale that the Bush administration was mostly doing Israelโ€™s bidding. And on Tuesday, Joe Kent, a top adviser to Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, announced his resignation over what he called a war started โ€œdue to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.โ€ In the case of Iran, the idea that crippling its capacity to threaten its neighbors is some sort of purely Israeli interest is belied by every Iranian missile or drone that falls on Dubai, Doha, Manama or Riyadh, not to mention U.S. and NATO military bases in the region. In October 2024, Kamala Harris called Iran our โ€œgreatest adversary,โ€ adding that one of her โ€œhighest prioritiesโ€ as president would be to ensure that Iran never became a nuclear power. Was she, also, just another of Benjamin Netanyahuโ€™s little stooges โ€” a manipulated American politician with no mind of her own? That charge is now being leveled at Donald Trump, never mind that the president first expressed a desire to thwack the Iranian regime in 1980, during the hostage crisis at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, and repeated the point over decades. Whatever one thinks about the wisdom or the timing of Trumpโ€™s decision to go to war, it was, plainly, his decision โ€” one for which he needed little convincing from Netanyahu or, for that matter, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who, The Times reports, is urging Trump to โ€œkeep hitting the Iranians hard.โ€ It is of course true that Israel greatly benefits from Trumpโ€™s courageous decision to join the war. Also true is that U.S. and Israeli interests, goals and tactics donโ€™t perfectly overlap and sometimes conflict. Thatโ€™s always the case whenever allies go to war. But the central point is that Israel, population 10 million, is behaving as an equal partner to America, population 342 million, in a war that the elected leadership of both countries believe is in their respective national interests. Whatever else that is, it isnโ€™t the tail wagging the dog.
