I'm really fortunate to have had the success I had early in my life. I got to "have it all" and show my mom / dad I could get us out of a tough spot financially. Now here I am touring, world building, investing and most importantly doing it with the woman I love as we plan our future. It's a dream come true but of course not without its nightmare moments. It's sometimes brutal to think if the kid I was growing up in the industry doing it all by myself. Yet, and I am emotional writing this - I did it, I pulled my weight, proved I'm a commodity and thrives since I broke though. Lean years are ones I live the best life personally and harvest years I dig into my career like I just walked through a surprise party door and THAT is a career.. you never know, so during the most unknown spots I dipped out and lived the best life possible. I would not have any of this knowledge without the greatest mentors on earth, the most loving family life and to be straight up the relationship I built with myself. I root for the underdog, I cheer on the lost and I reward anyone I can that breaks through with a hug or a high water mark high five. I get it. I get it and I appreciate it all. I've had odds stacked against me and won, I've had all the chips and lost but I've played every hand of my career since 1990. I love this life and I love my job. I can't wait to share what I am working on next because both personally and professionals this year is a monster one!
