Had a co-worker that took an extended leave from work - about 2 months. During those months the team worked seamlessly without him. We all started questioning what exactly he actually did. He was let go a few months later.
So before you take the long vacation - make sure you actually are valuable. LOL.

100%. I can’t believe the nets only went up around 2018 or so. It unfortunately took for little Johnny to take a ball to the forehead for them to get some common sense.
I watched a woman take a ball to the chest off of a foul ball that was hit behind home plate & needless to say she was a hurting unit.

Dear NFL GMs, I advise you to go watch Drew Allar’s first career start vs West Virginia in 2023. It was far and away the best game of his career (statistically and film wise)
And then you have to ask yourself, how can someone have the best game of their CFB career in their first ever start? Allar obviously has to shoulder some of the blame, but he was never put in a great situation from a coaching standpoint. Get him a great offensive mind and I think he can develop into a legit NFL QB

@CoachSwit It’s very common. The main issue arises when said parents think the reason their kid isn’t playing well is because of the coaching - not realizing/admitting that little Jimmy just might not be as good as his parents think he is.

A parent once told me their main focus at games is just watching and supporting their kid, and whether we won or lost didn’t really matter as long as their son played well. If we’re being honest, that mindset is probably more common than people want to admit. Thoughts?

It’s tough out there. I feel for you. I have friends in similar boats (except they have 4+ years of experience). I graduated college in 2021 & feel like we were the last ones off a sinking ship.
I always judge the job market based off the amount of recruiters in my email/messages & it has been scarce the last 6 months or so. For reference I’m in Software PM.

The tech field is so cooked. I have a 3.8 GPA at University, 2 major cybersecurity certifications as well as 2 minor ones, strong work experience, and I’m still going to need to apply to at least 500 internships and jobs to get a single interview.
I’ve seen multiple internships paying minimum wage that want years of experience. Insane
