ANALYSIS: Another one I talked about yesterday that would change. @EliasSports most likely worked with OS on this, but if the runner stealing (Hernandez) has to alter his slide or if the obstruction impedes in such a way that there is a possibility the runner would have been safe without the obstruction, you ignore the obstruction and score the stolen base. Since Hernandez's hand hit the obstructing foot, it's reasonable to assume without the obstruction he MAY have been safe, and the MAY is all you need, so this is now a stolen base.

@geittmann_max @RaymondJaymond @darnhatburner Looks like you know as much about CFB as the kid in your profile pic. SMU in the 2024 playoffs. Navy is solid. ACC chooses the 6 teams ND plays, not ND. If ACC is weak like this year it hurts. Same for any team’s conference. USC and Michigan chose to end their annual game w/ND.

Unless notre dame has time travelers in the staff, they can’t know that 8-10 years down the line that a team like Wisconsin (used to win 10+ games every year) would be shit. So if in a few years Alabama, Texas, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Clemson, Indiana etc (all teams on their schedule in the next few years) are trash, dont blame ND.
