@SteveRattner @Morning_Joe Unemployment as a metric = People looking for jobs / people in the labor force Does not account for people not looking for jobs This is misleading incorrect measure of todays unemployment rate The correct measure would be= population employed/ total population Chart it out

@misterrpink1 @SteveRattner @Morning_Joe The you need to adjust it for inflation. % of people employees and their incomes adjusted to inflation will indicate even among employed people, they are not making livable wages adjusted for inflation

12 months ago I was blind I thought VC and investors was the only way I thought you needed giant funds to succeed then I ran into the #buildinpublic community 12 months ago I read the stories and tweets of @nico_jeannen , @marclou , @levelsio and countless others I voraciously consumed @indiehakers podcast 12 months ago I made the decision to put my javascript skills to use by actually launching instead of dreaming about launching 12 months later 5 product hunt launches and a few other project launches none of my launches have done particularly amazing that's not the point again there are giant benefits to winning from the mentions but 5 mildly decent launches later +6,474.8% revenue growth (we don't post Stripe MRRs anymore apparently) Launching results in better returns than investing in 💩coins thanks to everyone in the #buildinpublic community for inspiring me and a tonne of other indies to launch, faster, better, harder, and see what's possible here is to another 12 months

It's @ProductHunt launch day for Katsu we are doing ok Red line shows traffic impact from Mar 7th - now 1) getting to featured page will result in more upvotes since it the first page people look at I missed out on this because, I hit launch, and went straight to bed instead of staying up all night to promote And I made no midnight launch announcements But I am here to tell you winning PH isn't the point. Look at my chart and see the impact a PH launch has on traffic. It's not about a single launch. PH launch is great marketing, and great traffic but the game is consistent marketing consistent launches consistent posts improved features more features on repeat. Keep improving and over time your chart will compound to tremendous growth
