pulldown are to stabilise the signal and avoid fluctuation that will make the pin cross the threshold (what happens in 3) 4.7K is usually enough on these voltages as the goals it to flatten the noise but 10 might be needed if you have long wires and/or noisy electronics in the area

Can somebody EXPLAIN TO ME LIKE I’M 5 what's happening here? > I tried 3 push buttons: I. with 10kOhm pull-down resistor II. with 4.7kOhm resistor III. without resistor I and II work as expected. III is already reacting to my finger before I even touch the thing!? See video:

Le télétravail, c'est pas un avantage en nature. C'est 10h de trajets en moins par semaine, un environnement de travail maîtrisé, zéro interruption. Pour un métier qui demande de la concentration comme l'archi infra, c'est la condition pour rendre un travail de qualité 💯

@madietlx I did not go further as there is already so much to be done with it and my projects were not demanding much more efficiency/custom hardware I might dive back in it a bit soon, I need to create sensors to automate my greenhouses a bit (I'd love not to have to water everyday XD)

@DimitriGilbert Agree. Arduino is both. a) yes, it strips away a lot of the details, but also b) it makes one start with hardware in the first place and then go down that rabbit hole to learn more :)

au lieux de passer 2h par jour en transport, je prefere rallonger mes journées de 2h ^^ Ca fait pas mal de temps que je bosses plus (RQTH et je peux vraiment pas faire plus qu'un mi-temps, ce qui est un gros no-go pour plein de boite) mais toutes les offres auquelles j'ai postulé c'etait max 1/3 en télétravail a presque 2h de chez moi :'( Autant te dire que je prefere manger des pates 7 jours par semaine plutot que ca ^^

ça fait 6 ans que je suis en full remote, et à titre personnel j'ai toujours plus travaillé (bien plus) en télétravail qu'en présentiel bien évidemment que j'ai beaucoup d'avantages (être à la maison, tâches ménagères, voir mes enfants plus longtemps dans une journée, pas de trajet) mais c'est 100% worth pour mon employeur

@vamshi_nenu no standing work for me, it is actually making things worse in terms of pain ^^ I'm trying to get up very often and walk around for 5-10 minutes, that is always doing me good (both physical and for focus) and I should also stretch more often but that would mean I wasn't lazy XD

True, I swapped 4 chairs, last one being the most ergo chair I used… So I sort of switched to 1 hour standing, 1 hour sitting 1 hour like a bar stool, so I could relax my legs.. The ergo chair is tooo comfy made me sit for too long i guess, and also this chair has too many things to configure loosing time.. temu chair is just sit and there is nothing you could do 😅 And I guess also investing in a good standing table was also a game changer in a way

A decent chair ! you don't need a top of the line $1000 one, but drop 200-300 dollars in an actual ergonomic chair ! (and throw that disgusting gaming one your using right now !)

Si I got the hbada ultra chair, only to use a temu chair worth 30$ I thought expensive = comfortable But found out, that your butt needs to like it… so I swapped hbada with my friends and took his temu chair… And this chair is just simple nor ergo, no head rest it’s got a 90• back angle which I love… and it goes up like a bar stool I can literally swing my legs when working lol

L'IA te permet de lancer un SaaS en un week-end. Et c'est exactement ça le problème. Tu en lances 5. Tu n'en finis aucun. Plus c'est facile de commencer, plus c'est dur de s'engager sur le long terme. T'as pas 5 projets. T'as 5 excuses pour jamais aller au bout d'un seul.

Le plus gros risque pour une startup en 2026 c'est pas le marché, c'est pas le funding, c'est d'avoir des gens dans l'équipe qui refusent d'utiliser l'IA à fond sous couvert d'éthique ou de purisme technique. J'en parle parce que je le vois partout autour de moi. Des devs qui ont passé 10 ans à construire une identité autour de leur craft, et qui vivent l'IA comme une menace existentielle plutôt que comme un multiplicateur. Ils rationalisent leur résistance derrière des arguments éthiques ou de qualité de code, mais le vrai sujet c'est l'ego. En tant que fondateur tu as deux choix : Tu acceptes que certaines personnes ne feront jamais la transition et tu agis en conséquence Tu laisses le conservatisme d'une poignée de gens ralentir toute ta boîte C'est pas une question de respect ou de patience. C'est une question de survie. Une startup qui ship 3x moins vite parce que la moitié de l'équipe refuse les outils agentiques, elle meurt. Point. Le vrai courage du fondateur aujourd'hui c'est de prendre cette décision là. Pas dans 6 mois. Maintenant.

Just let Opus go for over an hour on a new feature. When it was done, I asked how I can test it. 20 minutes later, it realized I can't test it because it did the whole thing entirely wrong. Idk how you guys use this model every day for real work 🙃
