Can we please stop calling our professional learning - training? Words matter. Teachers don’t need to be trained. None of us do. Training implies a behaviorist view. What we need are opportunities to think and engage in thoughtful and meaningful discourse and reflection.

My course is a K-6 content/methods combined course - the article/activity was a good way to summarize all the different ideas we have talked about this term.
