Join us for the National Dialogue Forum 2022 slated for 24th - 25th March 2022. The forum under the theme "Towards a post-COVID-19 recovery for socio-economic transformation" will grant different stakeholders an opportunity to deliberate on the EAC regional issues. #NDF2022

We facilitated a 2-day workshop with @KenyaChildren to empower youth-led CSO's on their role in treaty reporting & advancing child rights; emerging trends in #childrights advocacy & how they can engage better on those rights in the East and Horn of Africa region. #ChildRights

We participated in the just-concluded two-day capacity-building training workshop for child rights and youth-led CSOs on policy advocacy, networking, and engagement. The forum was organized courtesy of @UNCRC, African Union Frameworks, and Regional CSOs Advocacy Platforms.

From 17th-18th January 2022,@Umwanakuisonga is participating in the @EACRN management committee meeting which is taking place in Kenya-Nairobi.

Together with @EACRN, we're representing CSOs at @africanchildfrm workshop. We're lending our voices to the implementation & monitoring of girls' rights in the East African Community (EAC). CSOs are expected to inform & formulate policies & practices that are gender-sensitive.

The most important level of implementation in ECD is to have the lowest level of administration financed, so that the funds trickle to families. If the resources aren't reaching local governments, & by extension families, there is no ECD 📚🧑🏾‍🎓👨🏾‍🎓. ~Graça M.

Policies address pertinent issues e.g. what constitutes acceptable behavior by employees & clearly defines a sequence of steps to be followed, such as how the organization will respond to any policy violations. We engaged @Move_on_Afrika in this exercise. #childrights #policies
