$SPY Because many expected the pull back to start in the 670s (including me). The market chose the path that screws up the most people on both directions. Now you have bears giving up only to watch the rug pull from the sidelines, and bulls feeling more confident and piling into longs just to get rugged when they don’t expect it. That’s why managing risk is everything so when you’re wrong you’re not screwed. I’ve been wrong 4x in a row now and chilling because of risk management.

$SPY It got to 686 so 688-690 is very possible now. I decided to close out the 660 for a 20% loss, that was a big position so I couldn’t let it bleed over 50% or anything like that. I scaled in a new position at 685, may 15 670p. I’ll add more at 688-690 if we tag it tomorrow. I actually have a gut feeling that’s telling me to just full position now but i don’t think with my gut, especially that the vix closed red. With that being said, I’ll most likely regret not full positioning 😂but I won’t break my rules. “But Bassem, give up already and don’t be stubborn, buy calls, it’s going to Ath.” Now is the time to exit calls if you were on the right side the past couple of weeks. It’s definitely the worst time to buy calls. I won’t waste a lot of energy explaining why, I’ll let the price action show it next. Have a good evening!

@D_The_Husband Every white belt I've helped get onto the mats...the hardest part is walking through the door and getting on the mats. Doesn't change as you progress.

The trick is to show up to the mats when nothing is improving. Do that enough and see what happens.
