When I was 7 or 8, I picked up Magic's Pawn from the Young Adults section of the library cuz I thought the cover was cool. In the book a male mage realizes he's gay and has sex with his male sentient magic horse. It was my first exposure to sex in general too.

When I first encountered homophobic adults who said that a person's sexuality is a choice based on their experiences, it didn't ring true to me cuz how could THAT be my formative exposure to sex and I wound up having no interest in men?

Let’s try this another way: QB1 & best prospect in this draft is Mendoza without a doubt IMO bc of prototype, accuracy, consistency, big moment gene, etc… yet that doesn’t mean EVERY aspect of his tape is better than everyone else or he has answered EVERY question… or will be the best pro! As I keep saying, I have questions about all these guys & just about every college QB that comes out!! What I’m trying to do when I break them down or do interviews on them is to give you the “positives” & “unknowns/negatives” from their college tape as a way to say “WATCH FOR THIS” when they step on the field at the NFL level! Some guy were simply NOT ASKED to do certain things in college… but will show they can (or can’t) when asked! Some guys struggled to do certain things in college… but will be asked to do in NFL & will have to show they can (or can’t) do them in NFL! Some guys have been great at things in college… but will also have to show they can (or can’t) do them also in NFL! It’s all just means of informing ppl of what you saw to help others learn what to look for at the next level, it’s the job & why I will never call myself a “draft expert”! Because we don’t know until we know, and I’m not interested in guessing… bc I know all too well, there are so many factors that go into a QB being great in the NFL beyond what we saw on tape in college!
