…I’d take this over the Disney efforts any day. Whereas this is like a finger painting by a 5yo – technically bad but still made with an endearing enthusiasm, a creative vision & lots of bright colours – the sequels resemble a Tracey Emin artwork: ugly, cynical garbage. 4/10

Rewatched The Phantom Menace. By almost any metric this isn't a good film - muddled, misguided, full of boring actors giving wooden performances, grating comedy relief and a script that seeming went from 'rambling first draft' to 'Action!' without anything in between but...
