@grumpyandrew Most 'Found Footage' horror pics don't need the gimmick at all. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is essentially a found footage movie in style but I'm happy to accept that the person holding the camera is omnipotent and invisible.

The fact there’s people who claim that Irvin Kershner’s direction in Empire is no different from what George Lucas was doing is funny when you consider the Empire Strikes Back special edition is by far and away the one he changed the most about in regards to its formal choices

@dashielldavies @ehyeahwhatever No. Lucas had clearly used up all his ideas in the first film, so before we get a finale that basically repeats the original we have a middle chapter that's essentially 2hrs of running on the spot. Nothing really happens and the situation doesn't really change. A bit dull.
