Regional Administrator Jim Macy and accompanying staff had the opportunity to tour Lincolnway Energy’s ethanol plant in Nevada, Iowa. The group was able to tour the entire facility, from silo to lab to mill, seeing the complete process of ethanol production from start to finish. The plant produces approximately 50 million gallons of ethanol each year, which is the used to develop renewable fuels like E10 and E15.
