The longer this goes on, the more one question keeps bothering me. What exactly has Chelsea become better at? Recruitment? Debatable. Coaching? Unclear. Winning? Not really. The one thing this club has undeniably improved at is changing. Changing isn’t progress. It’s what you do when the badge is just a line on someone else’s balance sheet.

Wearing this badge is more than football it’s identity, family, home 🇬🇭 Every time I step on the pitch, I carry a nation with me. From my first call-up to now, Ghana has shaped me on and off the field. Always united. Always Ghana. 🇬🇭

You demanded. We engaged. @MTNGhana has responded. Effective today, fibre broadband prices have crashed! Previously, for a month of unlimited 100 Mbps broadband, you paid GHS 987. Today, for the same 100 Mbps, you pay GHS 299. For GHS999, you get a 500 Mbps unlimited broadband package, and for GHS444, you get a 300 Mbps unlimited package. I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff of MTN who have heeded our call for more affordable, stable and reliable fibre broadband. From the @MoCDTI, we will continue to push for better service packages for the Ghanaian people. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭 #FullyActive

@itzelfklein Are you the one to make that conclusion or the new manager? Are you a fan of Chelsea or you call yourself a fan of Chelsea? So they should end the contract of a player they have already bought because a new coach has been appointed. Meaning the whole team should be sacked as well

🚨🔵 BREAKING: Chelsea's recruitment is such a mess that Xabi Alonso is inheriting signings he never even asked for. Barco and Emegha were signed under Maresca and Liam Rosenior, before Chelsea even had Alonso in mind for the job, and that's the real issue here. Our sporting directors clearly assumed Rosenior would stay in charge and built around that assumption, so these signings were tailored to a manager and project that no longer exists. Now Alonso walks in and has to find a role for two players he never asked for, never identified himself, and has probably barely seen play in his own system. That's not how Real Madrid, City or Bayern operate, their recruitment aligns with the manager's vision first, not whoever happens to be in the dugout when the ink dries. Meanwhile every time fans ask about bringing in experienced players over 30 we're told it's not on the table, yet we'll happily gamble millions on unproven kids tied to a manager who's already gone, the logic makes no sense. What's actually embarrassing is Spurs changing their entire recruitment philosophy and going hard for Tonali while we're still pretending we're the disciplined, project based club. We used to mock Tottenham for lacking ambition, now they're offering bigger wages and signing proven, ready made talent while we're stuck integrating squad players nobody planned for under the new manager. The upside, if there is one, is that Barco and Emegha will both get a fair look in preseason to actually impress Alonso on merit rather than reputation, and I think Barco's the one with the real talent to force his way into contention, Emegha feels more like a coin flip given how crowded that striker spot already is with Delap and Pedro. Enciso's the one I genuinely can't see a long term path for unless he's used purely as rotation or sold this summer. This is exactly why we missed out on Champions League football, you cannot build a winning culture chasing Tottenham's old transfer model while ignoring how City, Madrid and Bayern actually do it, with structure, experience and alignment between manager and board before money moves. Alonso deserves better support than inheriting confusion he had no part in creating, and if Chelsea keep operating like this, we'll keep getting Tottenham results to match. Chelsea fans, do you think Barco, Emegha or Enciso actually have a future under Alonso, or are all three on their way out? @richmoneymak22 #kleinCFC #CFC #CHELSEA

🚨 Zlatan Ibrahimović Defends Messi Amid Red Card Controversy 🗣️: "People screaming for a red card clearly do not know the rules of football. According to IFAB, stepping on a player's Achilles tendon is not automatically a sending-off. The referee must judge the level of force used and whether the challenge endangered the opponent's safety. A red card is for excessive force or serious foul play. This incident was neither. For me, it is not even a yellow card. Football is a contact sport. Every little touch is not a crime. The loudest people crying for a red card are Ronaldo fans. They spend more time praying for Messi's downfall than enjoying football. Every tournament they wait for something, anything, that can damage Messi's reputation. The truth is simple: if that challenge was committed by Ronaldo, they would call it passion and fighting spirit. Because it was Messi, they want a red card and a five-match ban. Ronaldo is finished, and that reality hurts them. Messi is still the name everyone talks about, so they keep searching for ways to bring him down. This red-card campaign is just another desperate attempt."

@piersmorgan An attempt to use one’s studs earned Torres and Cahill a red card in EPL without any contact yet this one is overlooked with VAR present. Then it means all the fouls off the ball cannot be penalized.

Brilliant performance by Messi last night - but he should have been sent off for this outrageous studs-up foul on Algeria’s Mandi. The fact he didn’t even get booked is ridiculous - could have broken the guy’s leg.

@markklfc If it was Messi at the receiving end of this will you check optics of where the defender was watching. I remember a Barcelona match a defender was clearing the ball right in front of him and Messi came from his hindsight and placed his leg between the ball and the player. Penalty

Thierry Henry on the VAR check involving Lionel Messi: 🗣️ “I’ve seen a lot of people saying that should have been a red card, but for me, intent is very important when you analyse these situations properly.” “When you watch it again, you can clearly see that Lionel Messi is focused on the ball and trying to make a football action, not trying to hurt anyone.” “Yes, there is contact. Yes, it looks awkward. But not every collision is a red card.” “That’s exactly why VAR exists — to slow everything down and determine whether there was any malicious intent or serious foul play.” “The officials looked at it carefully and in the end didn't even believe it was worth a yellow card.” “People are reacting because it’s Messi. If it was another player, I don't think there would be nearly as much controversy.” “For me, it was accidental, unfortunate, and nothing more than that.” “Football is a contact sport, and sometimes incidents look far worse in real time than they actually are.”

@MinterGh @mrhgovgh the monopoly in public transport has reached a high level of extortion of passengers. We need an alternative. Citizens are suffering and drivers do not care. Please let us know you care

The @GPRTUOfficial monopoly must end. They are aware of how their drivers are strong arming passengers to pay more and are not interested in doing anything about it. Silently supporting it. So much that it is all over now. We all need money not only transport operators.
