Interesting, just had a call from @coughlthom saying he's looking in to social media accusations that me, Simon Lusk and @aniobrien all colluded to put Jade Paul up to her now infamous FB post. I'll tell you all what I told him. 1. I've never spoken to Jade Paul 2. Simon Lusk isn't just a friend, he's a good friend 3. Simon is hunting, it's the roar, d'oh 4. Ani has made her own statements regarding this I suspect that this is a hit designed to divert attention away from Hipkins' considerable problems. That it is being run out of the LOP office. It's the same MO that Len Brown used, and it may explain why Grant Robertson was seen poncing around Parliament yesterday. If I was running a hit on Hipkins, I'd wait until Labour had all their election hoardings printed, TV ads recorded, advertising and election campaign material emblazoned with his face everywhere, and then I'd hit him. But the game's afoot now, so lets have at it. i'm only surprised that the Atlas Network was never mentioned, nor Epstein.
