@Schmeelk This in particular x100. I can live with losing the game cause the non-Champagnie guards hit jumpers. I can't accept allowing them into the paint for baskets easy lobs.

2. Another defensive issue was allowing way too many straight line drives by being way too aggressive far away from the hoop on catches and screens. Play further back. Make the Spurs hit pull-up jumpers. Prevent those Wemby lobs. This will also limit fouling opportunities.

Knicks 🧵 1. I think the two main Knicks issues from Game 3 are fixable. The turnovers are one. They were largely unforced so I think those disappear, and outside the 1st and 3rd qtrs they already dissipated. The Knicks can also stop committing silly fouls. Also pretty easy.

@StevePopper Impact above the neck, follow through, not a basketbal play. Ariel Hulporti wouldn't be able to get away with that but good to know league is okay with that precedent.

NBA spokesman said that there will be no upgrade to flagrant foul on review of Wembanyama shove of Brunson. Monty McCutchen on NBA Today this afternoon said the foul call was missed, but would have to be conclusive to change it.

@Blahsquiat145 @StevePopper Hali shot was on the side of visitor bench so I don't think so. Don't remember year prior but pretty sure Pacers shot on NYK side in second half. I remember Donte shot was on side of visitors in prior round.

Monty McCutchen on this moment: "It should have been you are not allowed into the game make sure he is clear that he is not allowed in the game or clear that he is allowed into the game and because we did such a poor job of that administratively I think it was best handled the way it was"

Does that mean he merely whispered that he couldn't enter the game. It implies he told him he couldn't enter but the messaging wasn't "strong" enough.
