@BQ_Sports @_MaroonKoolAid TCU just lost its QB to Indiana. Anecdotal, but the sign that these programs are G5 level. Big 12 minus tech, is maybe worse than American.

@BQ_Sports @_MaroonKoolAid They did and will continue to. Yes the further removed the worse it will get. You’re being unbelievably naive if you think otherwise. Texas techs best hope is when the Big 10/SEC create their own “league”, that they get included. Big fish in a tiny pond won’t matter

@WattMells Yeah except….. Texas now is worlds better than Texas then, big 12 now is worlds worse with OU and Texas. Almost like losing your 2 best teams and markets renders your conference useless

@pkicker2 Texas couldn never go undefeated in the big 12 with their first team, they’re sure as shit not doing it with their 2s and 3s

My personal opinion is that Sark hasn't won nearly enough to justify the offseason shit talking against Ole Miss, Texas Tech, etc. But that is just my personal opinion. (I also feel this way about Lane Kiffin being the center of the CFB universe, but I know I'm in the minority)

@DerekYoungKSO It’s almost like Texas and OU leaving the big 12 ……. Made the conference substantially worse. Shocker. How does the prestige of the conference 3 years ago and Texas’s success then matter to his point now? Big 12 is a joke

I don’t even know if he’s wrong aside from Texas not being able to win the Big 12 for the longest time when they were a member and probably should have lost to Arizona State in the playoff two seasons ago. That said, his point is the problem, right? Texas Tech has no path to schedule up. I doubt Sark is raising his hand to do a home-and-home with them. So, these comments ring a little hallow. It’s just a recruiting tactic because they lose to them on that front when the Red Raiders want to pay.
Brett McMurphy@Brett_McMurphy

Shots fired at Texas Tech? Texas' Steve Sarkisian via @AnwarRichardson: "There's a team in our state in another conference w/a schedule that I would argue if I played w/our 2's & 3's we could go undefeated & they’ll probably make the CFP this year” 💀 on3.com/college/texas-…

@KeithFletcher @mattmosley Matt’s point would make sense if all else was equal. But oh shocker, removing the elite teams from the conference somehow turned those conferences into absolute bottom dwellers. Suddenly Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma state not an attractive school to play at when you don’t play Texas/OU

@mattmosley If they really want a piece of Texas Tech then Texas is going to need to drop some serious state bragging-rights games with UTEP and UTSA

@BQ_Sports @_MaroonKoolAid Nice try pal, all those opponents lost their powerhouse programs from their conference and got substantially worse. The pac 12 teams not in the big 10 are garbage now. They only were ever decent because is the draw from those teams to their respective conference

@_MaroonKoolAid Man you’d think Texas, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, Washington and UCLA were going undefeated every single year against these exact teams in that case? That must have been happening right?

@Warby_bo_bandY0 @4nt1p4tt3rn It’s just false. If you mean be extremely wealthy? Sure those things can matter. To be financially successful, it’s a simple math equation.

"Don't spend $28 on lunch! Don't buy a $5 soda!" "So me buying a soda is why I can't afford a home, or to live?" No, moron. Your insistence on spending that kind of money is illustrative of a few things: 1. You're financially ignorant, at best. 2. That's a habit that stands as an exemplar of similar spending habits in your daily life. 3. It's emblematic of your priorities and self-discipline. You argue in bad faith to avoid further self-examination.

@pkicker2 @4nt1p4tt3rn Factual points are true in relation to other factual points. And the inciting incident here is a poorly dressed man with $400 million dollars telling Zoomers they're poor because they overpay for lunch, rather than because he has $400 million dollars.

@SassySouthBlond The cost of living indexes are identical, AND your gross disposable income per capita is over $20,000 more. This isn't a "math is hard" conversation, it's just a basic misunderstanding of simple economics. The high cost of living is bad, so is over consumption.
