@nascarman_rr It’s so interesting to see the moves Earnhardt pulled off that now everyone uses. That little side draft entering the tri oval to pull Wallace back then immediately go to the top to get away from him. I wonder how many people understood back then what he was doing.

@jeff_gluck Hi, first time long time. I’ve been a fan since the mid 90’s and while I never liked the 1 race championship format I gotta admit other than that I don’t really care what the format is. I enjoy each race for what it is. 🤷🏻♂️

I’ve gotta tell y’all, the championship format change has really helped me fall back in love with NASCAR this year. I didn’t even realize how much of an impact it would make. But it feels like the series I obsessed over in my youth again from a storytelling perspective. Love it.

The 17 and 88 cars do not have the same shade of blue in their paint scheme. I don't care who tells me otherwise - and I will not be told otherwise - the 88 is definitely darker/more deep blue.

Had a couple cold ones at the neighborhood pub with my buddies. During the overly aggressive banter about Ohio State, Bama and Notre Dame football, I got all fired up and turned my hat around backwards like Sly in Over The Top. I’ll be 50 in April.

The streets are thankfully empty for the majority since the snow began.
