We’ve been constantly calling for a public owned VRS for YEARS and even the 🧠 behind the *new* BDA agreed.
We’re a Scottish politics 🤓 so with the current climate, it’s not a shock to the system and cleverly, the Westminster backed 🇬🇧 Deaf Action is capitalising on it.

Shocking. to hear @scotgov proposal to close ContactScotland-BSL despite a commitment in the BSL national plan 2023-2029 to improve this service as part of the BSL Act. This makes the aim for Scotland to be the best country for BSL users to live harder.

Statement on the Assisted Dying Bill.
After much thought, I will be voting for the Bill on Friday. I support the principle and think we should continue the debate.
But I still have concerns, and will see how those are addressed before deciding how to vote in future stages.
