@dankkepng This cutscene gave me emotions I’ve not felt for a video game before. Crash out, anger, crying, joy? All of the above? The fate saga ending in the winnower reveal would have been so good. But at least it happened.

@DestinyBulletn I don’t care if I sound like a loser. This cutscene made me crash out. We were THIS CLOSE to the true story of Destiny- The Winnower and the flower game.
I’ll be cancelling my PS+ and not purchasing anything else on PS5 anymore. There’s no way we stopped the story at this.

@eternalcrim If Sony/Bungie announced D3 I’d take back my stance, buy marathon and actively support it no matter how much I hate the extraction shooter genre.

So fucking annoying that everyone reports this like its a big deal. Give it a year and a half when everyone’s finally out of stuff to do.
That being said most of the Marathon players are actively playing Destiny to support the effort because we’re not foreign to the idea of supporting multiple games at the same time.

@dankkepng In a follow up to this, the nine called us “The weapon” because they wanted to turn us into the weapon that would finally be strong enough to take on the Winnower and finally bring a conclusion to the flower game. Whelp, if there’s a D3, there’s a whole story for it now.

@dankkepng So this lore tab basically tells us the ending of the fate saga. We would bind the nine, and they would tell us our fate is to face the true threat- The Winnower in what I would presume would be D3. God damn it man, why did they stop developing this!? It’s so peak.

@BannedDino What I believe this expac will be is an Elder dragon invading each different zone and fighting with each apex causing mass disruptions through each one. Our job being to obviously kill them. We saw Kushala for Wind wards, we could see Teo for Oilwell, etc.

Refreshingly new battle content. Newer mechs in EXs, every single Arcadian fight being unique. Kefka being the perfect clownshow.
Story was rather subpar but patches post 7.2 have been huge W’s

People can say what they want about DT but no one will ever convince me this expac hasn't given us some of the best battle content in the game. Arcadion and Kefka alone are legendary runs of content and that's just scratching the surface as I think basically every EX is top tier.
