2/ I believe in #ExpandTheCourt. I also understand this generation of leaders are not going to do that. We have a hard road ahead, a 20-year project. It's important to not get distracted by the mirage of easy solutions and do the hard work.

Pragmatically, the only choice we have is A. Focus on expanding Democratic legislative margins. Ultimately, SCOTUS interprets the law. We need Democrats to stop being so weak on codifying rights. B. Build liberal equivalent of the Federalist society and reshape the judiciary.

PSA for trans people in Kansas, Montana, Tennessee. Get your drivers license and birth certificate changed ASAP. And order MANY copies of your birth certificate, as they will not confiscate those. Kansas intends to roll back legal gender changes, even if you already did it.

For those that travel, watch your hotel bills carefully. I've had an increase in incorrect incidental charges (minibar, in-room water, etc) to the tune of one every 5-6 stays.
