The cool thing about being an American is we are blowing the world’s mind hosting a World Cup that we collectively don’t care about and did nothing to prepare for while our team whoops every country they come across. Oh, and soccer is like the 10th most popular sport in America. 🇺🇸

@CancelPigs @ItsEthanRay Well, I do agree just a little. There were other seats & he had to sit right up against him? It's not like that was the only seat. I had this at the theater a couple weeks ago. 150+ seats, 20 people in the theater, & some woman had to sit right next to me. Anxiety was crazy.

@dt000509 These are foreign fans who were let in. Countless fans, journalists and relatives of players and a referee from African countries, carribean and middle east were denied visas or priced out. Never happened at a "World" cup like this. Inclusiveness is a key part of a WC atmosphere.

I hate to break it to you but football fans are like this in all World Cups. It's the fans that bring their culture and traditions and camaraderie to the matches. Nothing to do with being in the US.

Distant security footage has been released of Karmelo defending himself from Austin Metcalf attacking him. As you can see in the video, Karmelo was surrounded under the tent with no way to escape. As Austin was standing over Karmelo attacking him, Karmelo neutralized the threat using self defense, and Karmelo had to run UP the stairs to escape further danger because he was boxed in from running DOWN the stairs.
This is CLEARLY self defense
